These general terms and conditions of sale govern the booking of stays at La Villa du Verdon through the website and direct booking process.

Purpose
The website allows consumers to submit a booking request for a furnished seasonal rental. The booking becomes final only after validation by the owner and completion of the contractual steps required for the selected stay.
Booking process
- The customer selects dates, completes the booking form and submits a request.
- La Villa du Verdon reviews availability and may accept, refuse or request additional information.
- When accepted, the booking moves to the payment stage. The customer then consults the contract and selects a payment method.
- The booking is considered confirmed once payment has been validated according to the chosen payment method.
Prices
Displayed amounts include the accommodation price and, where applicable, additional fees shown during booking, such as cleaning fees, pet supplement and tourist tax.
The total stay amount displayed before submission is the reference amount for the booking request, subject to manual verification in case of obvious input or technical error.
Payment terms
- Available payment methods are those displayed on the customer tracking page when the booking is awaiting payment.
- The customer may choose between card payment, bank transfer or cheque when these methods are enabled by the operator.
- For card payments, the transaction is handled on Stripe’s secure platform.
- For bank transfer or cheque, the booking is confirmed once the owner has actually received and validated the payment.
No right of withdrawal
In accordance with the rules applicable to accommodation services provided on a specific date or period, the legal 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to bookings covered by these terms.
Cancellation conditions
Cancellation and refund conditions are those stated in the booking contract and in the cancellation policy displayed during the booking process and on the customer tracking page.
Stay conditions
- The customer must comply with the maximum occupancy and the accommodation rules.
- Arrival, departure, pet and cleaning conditions are those shown in the contract and booking summary.
- Any false declaration or use contrary to the purpose of the stay may lead to refusal, cancellation or early termination of the booking under the applicable contractual terms.
Consumer mediator
In the event of an unresolved dispute, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator designated by the operator, once the mandatory prior complaint procedure has been completed.

Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in the customer’s country of residence where relevant.
